CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Researchers are developing more information about the long-term side effects after surviving COVID-19.

A new study found some survivors are dealing with memory loss and other cognitive problems known as “brain fog.”

Nearly 25 percent of recovered COVID-19 patients in the study had problems with memory.

Other side effects included taking a longer time performing mental tasks and being able to set and complete goals.
