CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces County is reporting 228 new COVID-19 cases and a jump in hospitalizations.
Since Friday, there are 17 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nueces county hospitals with coronavirus. The hospitalizations rose from 64 to 81. The total number of those cases that are in the ICU remains at 18.
413 new tests were conducted as of Saturday, making the total amount of completed tests 16,388. 308 of today's tests were conducted by the Nueces County Health District. The remaining 105 tests conducted today were reported by local hospitals, clinics, and physicians.
The number of deaths (6) and recoveries (243) remains the same as Friday.
