CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Hundreds of health care workers are being given the COVID-19 vaccine.

The South Texas Family Planning and Health Corporation held a drive-thru event Monday morning in Robstown.

Each worker was given the Moderna vaccine.

A second drive thru event is being held at the South Texas Family Planning clinic on South Padre Island Drive between Weber and Everhart.

The event is being held until 7 this evening or until supplies last.

Officials are expecting to give out 330 vaccines.

Another drive thru event will be held Tuesday for medical workers from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Beeville clinic.

Workers will be required to provide proof they are health care workers.
