Corpus Christi Mayor Joe McComb is asking that you pray to bring an end to the coronavirus.
He's calling on everyone to drop everything and join him in prayer Wednesday at 4pm.
During Tuesday's city council meeting, council members voted to extend a city order that limits gatherings of people 10 or less through April 17th.
"Where ever you are just take a moment. Hopefully, those prayers will be answered by April 17th and we'll see a substantial decline. So, that we can get back to normal," McComb said.
The mayor described himself as a true believer in prayer and said he hopes everyone's prayers will lead to a huge decline in coronavirus cases.
