8:10 a.m. - Brooks County reports 13 additional cases over the weekend. They have a total of 113 COVID-19 cases. 32 are active and 78 have recovered.
8:00 a.m. - Live Oak County reports seven new cases over the weekend. They have a total of 230 COVID-19 cases.
8/9 updates
8:55 p.m. - Kleberg County officials have announced one additional COVID-19 related death and 11 additional cases in their county.
There have been eight COVID-related deaths and 442 confirmed COVID cases in Kleberg County during the pandemic.
6:04 p.m. - The county announced Sunday night 1,171 new COVID-19 cases were reported, pushing the total for the pandemic to 15,244.
Of that total, 1,090 were confirmed as positive and 81 were probable positive tests.
The one-day boost was attributed to a "data drop" of cases from the state that stretched from June 27 to July 30, said Annette Rodriguez, health director of the Corpus Christi Nueces County Public Health District.
The county reports that 7,000 Nueces County patients have recovered, 785 patients have been hospitalized with 290 currently in the hospital and 120 of those currently in intesive care treatment.
4:11 p.m. - Nueces County reports two more COVID-19 related deaths on Sunday, pushing the overall total in the county during the pandemic to 236.
The county reports the patients were a male and female, both in their 60s.

4:05 p.m. - Nueces County has reported five more COVID-19 related deaths, pushing the overall total in the county during the pandemic to 234. The patients were 3 males and 2 females with ages ranging in their 50s, 60s, and 70s (3). The comorbidities of the patients included diabetes, kidney disease, and hypertension.
The county announced 85 new cases, pushing the total during the pandemic to 14,073. The county reports 6,840 patients have recovered with 780 requiring hospitalization. Of that total, 302 are currently in the hospital and 128 are in ICU.

11:35 p.m. - Kleberg County and Kingsville are reporting seven new confirmed cases. The county's total reported case count is 431.
5:03 p.m. - Nueces County reported 436 new cases on Friday. City manager Peter Zanoni said the increase in numbers is due to another "data dump" of cases diagnosed by the state during its testing events this week and last week.
4:38 p.m. - Nueces County reported two deaths on Friday. Both were women, one in her 50s and the other in her seventies. Their underlying conditions included diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension.
3:31 p.m. - San Patricio County reported 30 new cases. it has had 20 total deaths and a total of 935 confirmed cases. Of those, 696 have recovered.
3:03 p.m. - Jim Hogg is reporting that it's number of total reported confirmed cases is now up to 62. Of those cases, 38 patients have recovered.

11:17 p.m. - Kingsville and Kleberg County reported one new death and eight new cases on Thursday. Five of those patients are children under 10 years old, and one child is an infant. The county has now had 424 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
6:32 p.m. - Jim Wells reported 35 new cases Thursday, bringing its total of reported cases to 705. Of those cases, 406 patients are considered recovered, while 239 remain active.
5:40 p.m. - Bee County reports a new total of 859 cases. That is an additional 163 cases since yesterday.
4:50 p.m. - 10 additional deaths for Nueces county and 231 new cases Thursday.
2:59 p.m. - 3 new cases confirmed in Aransas county. They are at 165 as of Thursday.
2:44 p.m. - 23 new cases confirmed in San Patricio county. They now have 905 total with 669 recovered.

Brooks County reported 1 additional case Wednesday, raising their total to 95. Seventy-three are recovered, and 21 are active.
5:20 p.m. - 27 new cases in Bee county makes 696 total confirmed cases.
4:25 p.m. - Nueces County is reporting five COVID-19-related deaths Wednesday. The patients were between the ages of 40-80; two were men, and three were women, and the patients suffered from a range of underlying conditions such as chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and hypertension. Wednesday's deaths bring the county's death toll to 217.
3:39 p.m. - 15 new cases in San Patricio County. That brings the total case count to 882 total with 661 recovered.
3:35 p.m. - Duval County is at 161 COVID cases. 73 have recovered yet, 88 remain active.

11:18 p.m. - Jim Wells County reported 21 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The county has had a total of 658 confirmed cases. Only 271 of those cases are considered active. The county also reported its death count at 11.
10:34 p.m. - Kleberg County and the City of Kingsville reported an additional 14 confirmed cases. It reported 14 separate cases earlier in the day, bringing the day's total to 28. It also reported one death. The county now has had 389 reported cases of COVID-19, with six deaths.
4:47 p.m. - 23 new cases for Bee county make 464 total, not including TDCJ inmates.
4:40 p.m. - 249 new cases reported in Nueces county. The total is now 13,062. 4,703 have recovered
4:24 p.m. - The Corpus Christi - Nueces County Public Health District confirms eight new COVID-19 related deaths Tuesday.
The patients were 7 males and 1 female between 40 and 90 years old.
Hypertension and diabetes were among their comorbidities.
The total death count for Nueces county is now 212.
3:53 p.m. - Jim Hogg county remains at 53 total cases. 35 of those cases are recovered.
3:53 p.m. - Duval county remains at 152 total cases.
3:47 p.m. - Live Oak is now at 221 cases with 7 new cases reported Tuesday. That leaves 22 cases in quarantine and 33 cases recovering.
2:28 p.m. - 33 new COVID-19 cases were reported Tuesday in San Patricio County. The total in the county for the pandemic is 867 cases with 630 have recovered.
11:30 a.m. - Kleberg County and City of Kingsville confirm 14 additional COVID-19 cases Tuesday.

5:30 p.m. - Bee County reports 30 new COVID-19 cases Monday.
4:58 p.m. - Nueces County reports 238 new cases for a total case count of 12,813.
4,225 have recovered according to the county.
4:49 p.m. - Nueces County reports nine new COVID-19 related deaths.
The patients were 5 males and 4 females with ages between 50 and 100. Their comorbidities included hypertension, obesity, kidney disease, and diabetes.
4:08 p.m. - Jim Hogg reports 53 total cases with 35 of those cases recovered.
4:07 p.m. - Duval county remains at 152 total cases.
3:45 p.m. - Jim Wells County Judge Juan Rodriguez and the Office of Emergency Management report four additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 bringing the county total to 630.
3:27 p.m. - Aransas County reports 158 total cases.
3:16 p.m. - The San Patricio County Public Health Preparedness Department reports 37 new cases making 843 total. 49 people have been released from COVID protocol making the active case count 220. They also report no current hospitalizations and 16 total COVID-related deaths.
8:30 a.m. - Nueces County reports that an individual working in the Nueces County Courthouse has tested positive for the coronavirus.
7:30 a.m. - Jim Hogg County is reporting 53 COVID-19 cases. 35 of those cases are recovered.
