CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has announced the closure of Lake Corpus Christi for ten days.
According to a Tweet from the Lake Corpus Christi State Park account, the park has been closed due to a presumed positive COVID-19 case.
TPWD has learned that an individual at LCCSP is presumed positive for COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution, the park will close and will reopen for overnight and day use reservations on July 24. Guests with reservations through July 23 will be notified of refunds.

The park will reopen on July 24.
Guests with affected reservations will be refunded.
