Jim Wells County confirms 7 additional COVID-19 cases Sunday

Jim Wells County confirmed seven additional COVID-19 cases Sunday.

This brings the case total to 34 for the county.

The new cases include a male in his 40’s, 2 females in their teens, an adolescent girl in her 10's, a female in her 20's, and a female in her 50's.

County officials say the patients are currently isolated and the state department of health is supporting Jim Wells County in contact tracing for the new cases.

"The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Public Health Region 11 is reminding the public that it is conducting contact investigation on persons who have tested positive to determine possible exposure to others," says a release from the county.
