Despite the recent surge in omicron variant cases, the holidays are also bringing a travel rush across the nation.

The TSA reports that more than 2 million people were screened at U.S. airports for the fourth day in a row.

Between Dec. 23 and Jan. 2, Triple-A expects more than 109 million people to travel at least 50 miles.

That's a 30 percent increase from last year.
