CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Independent School District custodial workers are providing a deep cleaning for all of the district's buildings this week while school is out for coronavirus concerns.
More than 300 workers are scrubbing each of the district's buildings.
Jeremy Tremblay, the district's coordinator of custodial operations, says that workers create a positive charge on a surface with electrostatic sprayers so anything with a negative charge the chemical adheres to will disinfects.
Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez said Tuesday he expects a decision at the latest by Thursday on whether the district will reopen next week.
