Experts say the side effects of getting a COVID-19 booster shot are similar to those from receiving second dose.

However, on Tuesday the FDA's top vaccine official said swollen lymph nodes appear to occur more frequently after a booster.

Doctors say the higher incidence of swollen lymph nodes is not overly concerning, and that it's a common side effect with vaccines that goes away quickly.
