CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you have business to take care of at the Nueces Co. Courthouse, you need to be aware of some changes due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.

Starting Tuesday, the District Attorney's office will only be open to the public on from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those with business in the D.A.’s office, you will be required to wear a face mask.

The office can still be reached by phone or e-mail during regular business hours Monday through Friday.

Employees with the district clerk's office have been working from home since Friday after one employee tested positive for the novel coronavirus. They plan to return to the courthouse on July 6.
