Central Texas woman with COVID-19 in San Patricio County

County Judge Barbara Canales is aiming  for an order requiring facemasks inside local businesses.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — San Patricio County officials announced Tuesday afternoon a positive coronavirus case. The patient is from McLennan County.

The woman is in stable condition. According to the press release, she is in isolation since the symptoms do not require hospitalization.

According to county health officials the immediate risk of transmission in San Patricio County remains minimal at this time. The county department of health staff will contact anyone found to have had close contact with the woman.
