Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi announced Monday afternoon that the remainder of its Spring 2020 semester classes will be completed online.
In-person classes will move online in addition to classes that were previously administered online. Student digital resource courses will be available online to help students unfamiliar with online learning.
A statement from Dr. Kelly Miller states that this will include comprehensive exams, theses and dissertation defenses. More information will be available to those students March 23.
The campus will be open to students throughout the semester, including housing, health, library, and food services. The statement said computer labs are being reorganized to ensure an adequate social distancing level between stations.
A central call center for questions will be up and running on Wednesday at 361-825-9999 or by emailing islanderhelp@tamucc.edu, and answers to FAQs can be found here.
The letter also states that graduation will not be cancelled, but it could be postponed.
