ROCKPORT, Texas — The city of Rockport will be making a change to its water supply.
It all starts next Tuesday when the city will change the type of disinfectant used in the water supply.
Typically they use chloramines but they are changing the disinfectant to keep the level of residuals up and reduce the need to flush the water system.
Officials say it could take about two to three weeks and there could be a slight chlorine taste or smell in the water.
