GEORGE WEST, Texas — A Carrizo Springs woman has died after DPS troopers say she drove into a tour bus in Live Oak County.
The accident happened just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on FM 624 and State Highway 59, southwest of George West.
According to police, a woman driving a Ford Fusion was on Highway 59 when she ran a stop sign and hit the bus crossing the intersection.
The 33-year old woman died at the scene. Her 9-year old passenger was airlifted to Driscoll Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
Two other people in the bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
There’s no word yet on what caused the woman to run the stop sign.
