CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Bay Area Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse held its luncheon at the Ortiz Center today.
Nearly 600 people showed up to hear from former congressman Trey Gowdy.
Gowdy is known for participating in several hearings and investigations on Capitol Hill.
BACALA is a non-partisan grassroots organization that educates people on lawsuit abuse.
This year, their annual luncheon theme was unity.
