The Nueces County Commissioner's Court is resuming its search for a chief medical examiner after the person selected for the job decided not to accept.

The Texas State Attorney General's Office is taking over the prosecution of all cases related to Breanna Wood.

Fallon Wood exclusively tells KRIS 6 Investigates that Nueces County First Assistant District Attorney Angelica Hernandez asked her to sort through pre-trial evidence in the capital case against her daughter's alleged killer, Joseph Tejeda.
