The company says to get ready for “Bell” hops and Baja Blasts. Fire Sauce and Sauce Packet floaties. An exclusive menu item with plenty of surprises ready to provide a spicy twist for 18+-year-old superfans.

The fast-food company has announced plans for the most unique of its 7,000-plus locations in the United States. It will be a hotel and resort in Palm Springs, Calif., that will open for a limited time on Aug. 9.

The announcement appeared to catch Palm Springs City officials off guard, according to USA Today. Assistant City Manager Marcus Fuller told them: “At this point, we’re as surprised as everyone else. At least, I am.”

The Desert Sun reports that the city of Palm Springs contacted Taco Bell’s parent company, Yum! Brands, for details. They were told only information would be disclosed in a news release next month.

Taco Bell has tantalizingly teased its fans, saying the hotel experience will be “inspired by tacos and fueled by fans” from check-in to check-out.

“Everything from guest rooms to breakfast and poolside cocktails will be infused with a Taco Bell twist, making this the flavor-filled getaway of 2019,” the Taco Bell statement reads.
