A three-judge appeals panel in Austin has upheld a decision by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct to publicly reprimand Judge Guy Williams.
The decision released on Friday means that Willaims cannot serve as a visiting judge or collect retirement.
Williams was actually four months away from being able to do just that.
