A restaurant owner who became well known for his outreach after Hurricane Harvey will appear before a judge today.
Billy Joe Wilson, owner of Billy Joe’s Craft House, has been indicted on two state jail felony counts of theft.
The charges stem from a restaurant in Port Aransas Wilson owned back in 2017, named “Eats”.
In a post on Facebook, Wilson says he’s innocent and calls this an attempt by a former business partner to ruin his reputation and new business.
Wilson faces up to four years in prison, if convicted.
