A Florida man is accused of slapping his sleeping girlfriend with a cheeseburger in Martin County in the Treasure Coast in the far southeastern part of the state.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook that Kyle Jamison Jones, 30, “wanted it his way.” But when it didn’t happen, an argument escalated between Jones and his live-in girlfriend.
Television station WPEC of West Palm Beach, Fla., reports that Jones slapped his girlfriend in the face with a cheeseburger while she slept. Once she was awakened, he continued his attack with his cheeseburger, as well as pulling her hair and kicking her down the stairs.
When Martin County deputies arrived, they reported they found the girlfriend covered in food particles.
Jones has been charged with battery.
