One local high school is creating a career pathway for students by offering specialized classes and training.
Moody High School offers a curriculum called Academy Programs.
Students chosen for these academies have the opportunity to learn more about becoming a teacher, entering law enforcement or the health science and culinary arts fields.
It’s a four-year pathway to help students find a field they’re interested in, so they can one day pursue that as a career.
We’ll learn more about the academies and speak to students about their experiences.
That full story will be seen tonight on KRIS 6 News.
