Loved ones will hold a vigil for a King High School senior tonight a week after he drowned.

18-year-old Je’Sani Smith was swimming with two friends last Thursday near Bob Hall Pier.

His friends were able to make it out of the water safely.

But Je’Sani drowned. His body was found three days later.

Family and friends will hold a vigil at 7:30 p.m. today near beach marker 210 where Je’Sani’s body was recovered.

That’s about 5 miles south of Bob Hall Pier.
