New Orleans center Anthony Davis is on his way out of “The Crescent City,” leaving the Pelicans and their fans behind.

But he had an extra dig earlier today as he arrived for the Pelicans’ final home game of the season against the Golden State Warriors.

The six-time NBA All-Star is finishing his seventh season with the New Orleans teams.

The Pelicans won’t be making a playoff run and the team still has two games left after tonight. But it’s clear that Davis can’t wait to flee the area of king cakes and jambalaya.

The association between Davis and the Pelicans has been painfully awkward since a potential trade sending him to the Los Angeles Lakers didn’t happen shortly before the trade deadline.

Davis has averaged about 21 minutes a game in the 11 contests he’s played in since the All-Star break. He hasn’t seen game action since March 24 against Houston.

But Davis showed up wearing a t-shirt that read “That’s all folks.”

That old movie slogan from the Bugs Bunny/Warner Brothers cartoons seems to encapsulate Davis’ non-existent relationship with the Pelicans.

This is how his pre-game choice of clothing looked on the Pelicans’ Instagram page before the game tonight.
