A woman accused in the shooting death of another woman at a Corpus Christi home was back in court this afternoon.
Thelma Villarreal is charged with killing 21-year-old Alexandra Winfree at a home in the 400 block of Homecrest Street on Dec. 30.

During a brief hearing, prosecutors said they are awaiting additional DPS evidence. Judge Missy Medary has set another status hearing in 30 days.
Villarreal remains in Nueces County Jail under bonds totaling $1 million.
