A special called meeting for the Corpus Christi School District and its board members will be held  Tuesday morning.

The topic to be discussed is regarding redistricting.

According to Catherine Susser, president of the CCISD board, this meeting is to follow up on a demographic survey that was done last year.

As we’ve reported, that survey predicts Veterans Memorial High School’s enrollment will increase while other schools within the district will decrease.

Susser says they’ll begin to discuss the re-drawing of certain boundary lines in order to accommodate students and the shifting population.

The special called meeting will be held at 9 a.m. at the CCISD Administration building, 801 S. Leopard. It is open to the public.
