Actor Luke Perry has been hospitalized at an undisclosed Los Angeles location after suffering a stroke, entertainment news website TMZ is reporting.
The actor’s repconfirmed Perry’s stroke to “People” magazine. No other information about his health is currently available.
The stroke has been described as “massive.” It happened on Wednesday, the same day it was announced there would be a “Beverly Hills 90210” reboot coming to television.
Perry, 52, had not signed on to join that project. Most of his former co-stars have.
Actress Tori Spelling said Perry will likely appear on the show when he is available.
Perry currently is a regular on the CW show “Riverdale.” His role is Fred Andrews, who is Archie’s father.
