Kane Beef has been sold.
That’s according to an online docket entry from a bankruptcy court in Houston.
We don’t know the details yet, including who bought the facility.
According to the court entry, a final hearing to approve the sale will be held Monday afternoon in Houston.
Most of Kane Beef’s 750 employees have been furloughed since last week, when a deal to buy the plant fell through.
They’re waiting on the outcome of the Houston auction to find out if they’ll be going back to work.
