The downtown area continued to be infested by javelinas as three were seen roaming in the area around KRIS-TV/KZTV-TV studios Monday morning.
The three little piggies remained in the area long enough for several workers to capture pictures of them. Maybe, they were looking for our leftover pizza and seven-layer dip left from the station’s Super Bowl party on Sunday night.
Last week, a group of javelinas was seen loitering at the entrance of All Good Fitness at the corner of Peoples and North Chaparral streets.
Sightings of javelinas are not that rare around the Coastal Bend. But it’s rare they are seen in areas as heavily trafficked as downtown areas.
Animal control has been contacted. There have been no reports of any pigs in the area since their original venture last week.
