Tom Brady’s role in the celebrated “Deflategate” scandal just doesn’t seem to go away.

Even though the incident took place in 2015 and Brady later served a four-game suspension, it’s been hard for some to forget.

Take KDKA, the CBS affiliate in Pittsburgh, which had this on-screen graphic after Brady’s opening remarks at the introductory Super Bowl press conference Monday night in Atlanta.

Love him or hate him, Brady now has more individual Super Bowl appearances than any other franchise in the league, save his own team.

Sure, it might seem petty. But the Steelers have lost three consecutive times to Patriots and Brady in AFC Championship games in 2001, 2004 and 2016.

Steeler fans apparently have long memories about those games during Brady’s illustrious career.
