Local spelling bee winners shine in local elementary school competition

Participants from across the Coastal Bend participated in spelling bees at their respective elementary schools on Friday.

KRIS-TV was honored to be present at three local schools as news anchors Katia Uriarte (Woodlawn Elementary School), Priscilla Torres (Dawson Elementary School) and Nikela Pradier (Kolda Elementary School) served as pronouncers in Friday’s competition.

DAWSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
