Outlets at Corpus Christi Bay opened less than two years ago and now it could be sold off to the highest bidder.

A foreclosure notice filed Monday with the Nueces County Clerk’s Office says the outlet mall in Robstown failed to make payments on a $65 million loan.  The loan was issued on November 19, 2014 by an Oklahoma company called Real Estate Holdings LLC to Lockhard Outlets Corpus Christi Bay, LLC.

The property is expected to be sold at auction on February 5 during a foreclosure sale at the Lipan Street entrance to the Nueces County Courthouse.  The sale will go on sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Property management will offer a comment tomorrow morning.
