An early morning car accident on the Harbor Bridge sent two people to the hospital.
The accident happened around 2:00 am Sunday morning.
Police say a wrong-way driver in a Jeep crashed head-on into an SUV on the Harbor Bridge Southbound lane. The debris from the crash as well as the accident scene kept traffic stalled as Corpus Christi police responded to the crash scene.
Both of the drivers were taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline and are listed in critical condition.
Police are still investigating the accident and say the wrong way driver may have been driving under the influence.
