Life is good these days for Tiger Woods.
After claiming his first PGA Tour win in five years with a stirring victory at the PGA Tour Championship in Atlanta, Woods is gearing up for the Ryder Cup in France. And he provided a Junior Cup player with a lifetime moment on Wednesday.
As Woods was meeting members of the European and American teams, someone told him to have 17-year-old British golfer Robin Williams tell Tiger his middle name.
It was Tiger.

Upon learning of his namesake, Woods was legitimately excited.
“Come on, dude! Is it really? Good for you,” Woods told Williams.
An awed Williams then told him, “You’re a big inspiration to me. Thank you very much.”
“No, thank you,” Woods replied. “You root for Europe, but you hope I go 5-0 (in Ryder Cup matches), right?”
Williams agreed — but would you expect him to say anything differently?
Really?
Williams said after the meeting that he was still shaking after meeting his golfing hero.
It was a good moment for Woods, whose career hasn’t been marked by many of them in recent years.
And maybe it will spark some good karma for him moving forward in the Ryder Cup, which will be seen this weekend on KRIS TV.
