Today was the first day of school for thousands of private school students.
It was a busy day for schools that are run by the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
The Diocese has 17 schools including schools in Alice, Rockport, Kingsville and Robstown.
We stopped by St.Patrick’s School on South Alameda Street around noon. The kids were super excited because they only had to attend school for half a day.
Meanwhile, teachers stayed behind because they had to work a full day.
