Students who are about to be High School Seniors are invited to the first-ever Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi College 101: Future Islander Conference.
During the daylong conference, prospective freshman will learn about the next steps toward becoming an Islander!
Activities will include campus tours, application workshops, dual credit transfer information, tips on picking the best major for you and more.
The goal of the event is to help rising seniors and their families with the college application process – whether they plan to attend A&M-Corpus Christi or not.
Sessions include:
- Picking the Best Major
- TAMU-CC Admissions
- Application Workshop with Admissions Counselors
- Financial Aid and Scholarships
- Student Panels
- Tips for First Generation Students
Those who attend will leave the conference with either a completed application to the University, or simply armed with the information and knowledge needed to apply to any College or University.
The Future Islanders Conference will take place Saturday, July 28th from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the TAMU-CC University Center. Lunch will be provided.
