A good Samaritan comes to the aid of another boater after a vessel breaks down near jetties.
The incident unfolded in the waters in the front of the American Bank Center just before 2:30 pm Friday afternoon.
According to police, the vessel broke down along the jetties. Another boater saw the vessel on the rocks and decided to pull the boat back to the Corpus Christi Marina.
Our KRIS 6 News Shoreline camera recorded the rescue as it unfolded.
Emergency responders say because of the good Samaritan’s actions, rescue crews didn’t have to get involved.
