Kira is a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix who has been with CCACS for nearly a month and is just waiting to be adopted.
She is as friendly a dog as they come, and is familiar with basic commands (like sitting before getting a snack, for example). Whether on a leash or being held, Kira is very cooperative and easy to handle — quite an accomplishment for a dog with so much energy!
Go by 2626 Holly Road Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:30 PM, or call (361) 826-4630 if you are interested in adopting Kira. You are welcome to bring your children or any current pets you have, in order to spend time with her any animal you may be thinking of taking home.
PLEASE NOTE: CCACS will be closed on Thursday, June 28th for training and maintenance, and also on Wednesday, July 4th for Independence Day.
CCACS representatives will be on hand at La Palmera Mall this Saturday, June 30th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM as part of "City Hall in the Mall." There will be several animals there who are available for adoption.
