Fire Truck Pull fundraiser for Special Olympic athletes

The Special Olympics of South Texas and the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics are holding their Fire Truck Pull fundraiser this Saturday, June 30 at the American Bank Center (1901 N Shoreline Blvd)

It’s the ultimate tug of war challenge, test your strength with a team of 10 people and see who can pull the 55,000 lb fire truck the fastest!

All money raised will go straight to area funding for the athletes of the Special Olympics. This money from the Fire Truck Pull will fund coaching for athletes, equipment, uniforms and trophies.

Fire Truck Pull day:

9:00 a.m. – registration begins

10:00 a.m. – Opening ceremonies

10:15 a.m. – First Pull

Awards follow after.

To Register:

  • $300 per team of 10 or $30 individual
  • Fill out registration form at www.sotx.org/firetruckpull – you can also register the morning of the event

Rules:

  • Team "MUST" consist of 10 people
  • team captain will have all registration info, including waiver forms
