Police say they are on the lookout for a woman who used a large piece of wood and a knife during a robbery.

The incident happened back on June 1, 2018, at a motel in the 700 block of North Port Avenue near I-37.

Corpus Christi Police Department investigators say a female suspect walked into the motel with a large piece of wood demanding cash from employees.

When the workers didn’t listen to her and told her to leave, police say the suspect got aggressive and began banging the piece of wood on the counter and attempting to strike the employees.

Surveillance video released by police shows the female suspect later pulled out a large kitchen knife and is seen cutting an employee.

The video shows the suspect taking a cash drawer.

The suspect is described as a black female, standing approximately 5’07, weighing approximately 150 pounds, wearing a light blue hoodie and black pants.

If you know who the woman is, you’re asked to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 361-888-TIPS.
