Everyday we celebrate good deeds in our community. We are giving a "thumbs up" today to some first time moms who hit quite a milestone last night.
The moms graduated from the United Way of the Coastal Bend’s Nurse-Family Partnership program. The new program provides one-on-one pre- and post-natal support, along with educating new mothers, for two years after they give birth.
The first graduates from the program were honored last night at Del Mar College Center for Economic Development.
