Five people had to be transported to the hospital after the RTA bus they were riding in was struck by an SUV.
The incident happened at the intersection of Carroll Lane and Staples Street just before 3:30 pm Tuesday afternoon.
According to police at the scene, an SUV struck the bus and fled from the scene.
Several people complain of back, hip, and head pain. Five were taken to the hospital.
Police say they had non-life threatening injuries.
