Multi-million dollar sports complex heading to council vote

Posted

Corpus Christi is one step closer to getting a sports complex on the city’s southside.

The multi-sports complex is set to be built along the Crosstown Extension near Church Unlimited. The developer of the project, Bert Quintanilla tells KRIS 6 News the city council will vote on providing utilities to the project.

Once they approve work for the utilities, they can move forward with building the complex.

That 25-million dollar facility will include a field house, baseball, football and soccer fields along with basketball and volleyball courts.
