An 18-year-old Flour Bluff man has been arrested in connection with last week’s home invasion.
Nueces County Sheriff Jim Kaelin tells KRIS 6 News that 18-year old Trebor Campbell Wheeler was arrested yesterday in connection with the April 2nd murder of Arturo and Miriam Lopez.
Wheeler was arrested in Killeen Wednesday and taken to the Bell County Jail. He was charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery. He was released to Nueces County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday morning. They are enroute to the Nueces County Jail.
On April 2nd, Arturo and Miriam Lopez were found dead in their home on the 25-hundred block of Balchuck Lane. No motive or details have been released in their deaths.
