On August 25, 2017, Hurricane Harvey ripped through the town of Rockport, leaving a majority of the town to deal with the damage left behind. Rockport’s only high school was severely damaged, and their gym was destroyed.
Enter Ellen DeGeneres.
Ellen surprised the students and staff of Rockport-Fulton High School with a gift that will make a difference in the community via a live shot on Tuesday, and we got to be on scene for the excitement.
The surprise was one of the biggest gifts the show has given away in 15 seconds. We will show you interviews with students and staff of the high school and their reactions in the coming days.
