A bad case of road-rage turned violent this morning.
Around 5:00 A.M., one vehicle cut another off on South Padre Island Drive, near Everhart.
That’s when one of the passengers opened fire on the other vehicle.
One person was shot in the arm and thigh, and taken to the hospital.
Their injuries were deemed non-life threatening.
The suspect vehicle took off, and police are still searching for the person responsible.
They’re facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
That intersection was shut down while they searched for evidence, but should reopen shortly.
