Cullen Middle School is one step closer to closing its doors.
Corpus Christi Independent School District is consolidating Cullen Middle School with Haas Middle School this summer.
On Wednesday, 1,500 boxes to be used for packing arrived at the school. In August, students who would normally attend Cullen Middle School will attend Haas Middle School, where construction crews are adding several classrooms and extra locker rooms to accommodate the influx of students.
Meanwhile, C.C.I.S.D. says once the move is complete, they will determine what they will do with the Cullen campus.
