Naidy Escobar was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where she graduated from Florida International University in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications.
Naidy started her career in the industry working as an assistant social media producer at Univision for a reality TV show called Enamorandonos.
She then gained experience in radio at Hubbard Broadcasting as a brand ambassador. There she made connections within the community and she knew she wanted to give a voice to those in need.
Naidy came to KRIS 6 News in 2022 as a digital content producer and graduated to her dream job of being a multimedia journalist in 2023. She currently covers the Westside of Corpus Christi.
Naidy is bilingual and is very proud of her Salvadoran roots.
On the job, Naidy loves to connect and work with people to help make a difference in the community. Outside of the newsroom, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family.
