CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The pandemic appears to be changing the way that Americans are shopping.

Research firm IRI has found that big name brands gained almost a half percent more of the market in the past year.

That's compared to smaller, private labels, which lost a half percent share of the market.

According to IRI, this is the first time this has happened since they started tracking the data in 2016.
