CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Gas prices continue to soar across the country.
According to Triple-A, the national average price for a gallon of gas is $3.20, the highest price since October 2014.
This comes after oil prices hit their highest level in nearly seven years earlier this week.
Triple-A Texas indicates that people in Nueces County are paying around $2.88 a gallon on average.
